Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how QANTARE uses cookies and similar technologies on qantare.com (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1.What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. “Similar technologies” include local storage and session storage, which a website uses to keep small amounts of data in your browser. In this Policy we refer to all of these simply as “cookies”.
2.How we use cookies
We keep our use of cookies deliberately minimal. We use them to make the Site work, to remember your choices, and — where applicable — to understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. We group them into categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function, for example to enable smooth page transitions and to run the website assistant. These cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Functional / preferences — remember choices such as your language.
- Analytics — if used, help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Site.
- Marketing — we do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
3.The cookies & storage we use
Our own use of browser storage is limited to what makes the Site work:
| Item | Purpose | Category | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Page-transition state (session storage) | Enables the smooth transition between pages | Strictly necessary | Session |
| Website-assistant chat (in-browser) | Holds your current conversation so the chat flows naturally | Strictly necessary | Session |
| Language preference | Serves the Site in the language you choose | Functional | Session / on selection |
4.Third-party cookies
Some features rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies or process data when used — for example our website host, the AI provider that powers our assistant, and WhatsApp if you choose to continue a conversation there. These are governed by the third parties’ own cookie and privacy policies.
5.Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies, and clear local/session storage, through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or remove cookies and notify you when one is set — see your browser’s help pages for instructions. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working properly.
6.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version.
