Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how QANTARE (“QANTARE”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit qantare.com (the “Site”), chat with our website assistant, contact us, or engage us for services. QANTARE is an AI & automation agency based in Beirut, Lebanon, serving clients across Lebanon and the GCC.
1.Who we are
QANTARE is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy. You can reach us about anything in this Policy, or to exercise your rights, at info@qantare.com.
2.Information we collect
Information you give us
- Enquiry details — your name, email, phone number, country, company and the contents of your message when you submit our contact form.
- Chat conversations — the messages you send to our website assistant, and any details you choose to share there (such as your business, your project, or your contact details).
- Communications — emails or messages you send us, including via WhatsApp if you choose to continue a conversation there.
- Project information — during an engagement, information you provide about your business, systems, content and accounts that is necessary to deliver the work.
Information collected automatically
- Technical & usage data — such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and referring page, collected by our hosting provider and any analytics we may use.
- Cookies & local storage — small amounts of data stored in your browser to make the Site work and remember preferences. See our Cookie Policy.
3.How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and operate our website assistant.
- To qualify and follow up on leads, prepare proposals and provide our services.
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site and our services.
- To communicate with you about your enquiry, project or our services.
- To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights, property and users.
4.Legal bases for processing
Where data-protection law (such as the GDPR) applies, we rely on: your consent (for example when you start a chat or submit a form); the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before a contract (responding to your enquiry and delivering services); our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving our business and Site; and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time — this will not affect processing already carried out.
5.The website assistant & messaging
Our website assistant is an AI-powered chat. The messages you send are processed by a third-party AI provider to generate replies and understand your enquiry. When you ask to speak with a person — or once we understand your need — a short summary of your enquiry may be sent to our team through a messaging service so a member of QANTARE can follow up, including, if you choose, by continuing the conversation on WhatsApp.
6.How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers / processors who help us run the Site and our services, under appropriate confidentiality terms.
- Professional advisers (such as legal or accounting) where necessary.
- Authorities or other parties where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights, safety and property.
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
The categories of provider we currently rely on include:
| Provider category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Website hosting & serverless platform | Hosts the Site and runs its functions (including the assistant) |
| AI provider | Powers the website assistant’s replies |
| Messaging & notification services | Lets us receive enquiries and follow up — including a team-messaging service and, when you choose to use it, WhatsApp |
| Enquiry / lead tools | Capture and help us manage your enquiry |
7.International data transfers
QANTARE is based in Lebanon and works with clients in the GCC and internationally. Some of our service providers process data on servers located outside your country, including outside Lebanon and the GCC. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected and is handled in line with this Policy.
8.How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: enquiry and lead data for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards; project and client data for the duration of the engagement and as required for legal, accounting and legitimate business purposes; after which we delete or anonymise it. Chat transcripts are retained for a limited period to operate and improve the assistant.
9.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; restrict or object to certain processing; request portability; and withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email info@qantare.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10.Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, such as encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11.Children’s privacy
The Site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12.Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites or services (for example WhatsApp). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their own policies.
13.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
